PURPOSE OF POSITION:

To act as primary academic instructor to Project SEARCH.  The position also provides direction, training, support and supervision to staff who are responsible for supporting and training SEARCH interns.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED:

Reports Directly to Program Manager

SUPERVISION EXERCISED

Will supervise Project SEARCH Skills Trainers (BTSII).

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS: Meets the Minimum Qualifications for Faculty in California Community Colleges (See Attached.) Ability to write accurate, concise and grammatically correct letters, memos, reports and other relevant documents. Familiarity with various disabilities including, developmental, physical and mental health related. Ability to maintain confidential information. Ability to work independently. Excellent interpersonal skill in order to interact with all levels of management, employees and program participants. Have own reliable vehicle, a valid California driver's license, current liability insurance, and a driving record which is acceptable to Goodwill's insurance carrier.

WORK DEVICES/MATERIALS/EQUIPMENT USED: Various office supplies and equipment including: telephone, fax machine, adding machine, computer, printer, copy machine, file cabinets, papers/forms, calendar, pens/pencils, ruler, scissors, etc.

COMPETENCIES: Working knowledge of Microsoft office/similar software for word processing, data management, calendar coordination and writing presentations.
