The Donations Acquisition Events Assistant will execute Donation Events within assigned territory.


Works under the direct supervision of the Donations Acquisition Manager and receives work direction from the Donations Acquisition Coordinator.


Provides work direction to Event Staff (i.e. ADCs, transportation team, job coaches, processors, volunteers, etc.).

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma desired but not required. Attended Donation Center attendant experience desired but not required. Effective English and grammar skills, in both verbal and written communications. Bilingual Spanish preferred. Ability to work independently with minimum supervision. Ability to work well under pressure, flexible and adaptable in handling interruptions and variations. Ability to prioritize. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Ability to lift merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds. Required to travel extensively (100% of the time). Reliable form of transportation to move from site to site as required. Ability to work rotating schedules including weekends. Ability to work overtime as required. Must own a cell phone and maintain valid account. Valid California driver's license, liability insurance, and a DMV record acceptable to Goodwill's insurance company. 


 Uses pens, pencils, clipboard, receipt forms, keys, padlocks, telephone, leather gloves, mobile device and stairs.

OTHER: Consecutive days off may not be available due to scheduling priorities.
