PURPOSE OF POSITION:

To perform receptionist functions and provide clerical support to the Fitness Center Physical Therapy program.  Duties include; scheduling appointments, checking patients in and out of their appointments, collecting co-payments and entering information into Physical Therapy database system.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS: High School diploma or GED. Two years' experience in a fast-paced, high call volume environment; health care industry experience a plus. Experience with Microsoft Office preferred. Effective interpersonal and communication skills.

WORK DEVICES/MATERIALS/EQUIPMENT USED:

Various office supplies and equipment including: telephone, fax machine, adding machine, computer, printer, copy machine, file cabinets, papers/forms, calendar, pens/pencils, ruler, scissors, etc.
