PURPOSE OF POSITION:

To manage the retail store and wholesale operation in the absence of the manager to generate revenue to support the mission of Goodwill. To provide vocational training opportunities for program participants.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED:

Reports directly to the Marketplace and Wholesale Operations Manager.

SUPERVISION EXERCISED:

Will supervise Senior Leads, Lead and any Marketplace employees, volunteers and Program Participants working for Marketplace, including Job Coaches.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or GED required. One to three years retail sales experience and one year supervisory experience preferred. Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish). Effective interpersonal and communications skills.  Forklift certified required.  Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and evenings.

WORK DEVICES/MATERIALS/EQUIPMENT USED:

Uses moving equipment and tools (including dolly, gloves, carts, etc.), various office supplies and equipment including telephone, adding machine, cash register, computer, printer, copy machine, file cabinets, papers/forms, calendar, pens/pencils, forklift, etc.
